MSI is making good on this card where the egg has same on it's face. This is the first time the egg has gone bad and I am actually shocked that this is how they are dealing with this when they agree it's not a fault on my end. Ih, and the woman I asked about getting the adapter when I saw it was not in the box and she said she would have the warehouse see if they had one and IF they did, would send it. Never happened.
Here is yet another revamp of my revamped review. Newegg denied my RMA for this card stating that not all the little extras that are supposed to be shipped with the card were with it when it was shipped back for a refund. I again told them that they weren't in the box when it was shipped to me. That didn't matter and I said you can check that I called to get the adapter in question. They did and agreed but that didn't matter. I contacted MSI and they are shipping the adapter to me, very cool at no charge. I then asked newegg if they would then accept the card when I got the adapter they wanted and never had when I bought this card. No was the answer and they had already shipped the bad card back to me because the box was shy one adapter.
I alaways keep "everything" sent when I order a new part includung the shipping box and packaging material in case something goes wrong and have it by my desk until all is well.
I thought perhaps there was some problem with compatibility but this is an ATI/AMD rig top to bottom so what could go wrong, everything in this case except MSI and the many emails and phone help offered. All I got from the egg was "How sorry we are, but." Newegg is not the people with the 30 refund/replace deal, no sir. It's the makers of the hardware and I have that in writing. I had thought it was the egg standing tall for us and found it is not.
