This review is from: EVGA 04G-P4-2699-KR GeForce GTX 690 Hydro Copper Signature 4GB 512-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
Pros:
1) consumes less power than 2 GTX680s in SLI
2) performs nearly on the same level as 2 GTX680s in SLI
3) consume less space *using a single card compared to having to get 1 more other card for SLI
4) bragging rights galore ;)
5) can play anything with more than satisfying results on 2560x1440 resolution what more with 1080 res on nvidia surround.
Cons:
price if you can't afford it and some say having 2 actual GTX680s in SLI run better than a single GTX690 especially when overclocked, but that's another story.
Overall Review:
Can't say much other than in about a years time the 700series card would eventually be out, but super happy with this purchase and choice of video card. works perfect with my new Samsung Series 9 S27B970D 27"inch PLS monitor! if you have the cash get this card, it's not overrated, you won't know how great a card this is till you try it out! current game I'm playing right now is Battlefield 3 and Shogun 2 Total War with everything maxed out at 8x MSAA with 50+ fps
