Pros:

Awesome card for the money, together with the game and the rebate I got what I would consider a 450-500 dollar value for 270.

Replaced my old GTX480 to play a heavily modded Skyrim.

Installation went without a problem. Right away saw idle temps at 59C and was concerned, but i think they keep the fans low for noise reasons. With furmark burnin runnning, temps never exceeded 76 degrees.
And that's with the fans barely going over 40 percent.

During gaming the fans are whisper quiet and that is a big plus for me. For overclocking or cooler temps all you have to do is run msi afterburner and set the fan to scale with temps . I did that with all my Nvidia cards but had no need for that with this one.

3 GB memory allows me to play with full high res mods, at 1920X1080 with AA and AF set to max and get 60 fps in most areas. Some heavily forested areas slow down to about 30 fps, but once again this is not vanilla Skyrim but a heavily HD one.

So far feeling pretty good about this investment and can see myself owning this card for years.

Cons:

No extra cables included with the box, but most probably have all the cables and crossovers needed so just a minor gripe since I had to think of one.

Other Thoughts:

I'm used to seeing around 40-42 idle temps in my GTX 480. So my initial thoughts about seeing the 59C idle on the 7950 was this card must be a dud. Noticed the fan speed was barely around 20 percent compared to 45 percent on the Nvidia card.

But after running the burn in test I can see why they did it. This card really doesn't need any higher than about 50 percent fan speed to keep cool. And a range between 20-50 means whisper quiet sound out of your system. Even with 59 C at idle you can't get any more than about 78C on full load.
