- AMD E-350 APU (1.6GHz, Dual-Core)
- AMD A45 (Hudson D1)
- 2 x 240Pin
Small, prebuilt, cheap.
USB booting is questionable. I have tried multiple sticks and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Random BSOD even during windows install.
70C + temps during normal use despite two fans?
System fan should have a plastic cover pulling air across the CPU heatsink, as it is when the RAM is populated and optical drive is installed the airflow is minimal at best causing the higher temps.
Fan noise is noticeable in a quiet room.
Custom power supply means when it dies the whole thing may be useless.
Included Sata cables aren't long enough for use with both optical drive and hard drive, I had to change the cable going to my HDD.
I bought this for a skype box, and it worked well until the hard drive died, not sure what caused it to die, and have replaced it with a new 1TB drive. However some issues during windows instal have caused me to question the system as a whole, and I am further testing it before it gets released back into production environment.
