Second chance, second failure 12/09/2012
This review is from: Tripp Lite U360-004-R USB 3.0 SuperSpeed 4-Port Hub
Pros:
Tripp Lite eventually replaced the product that I first got from Newegg (wasn't Windows 7/64 compatible--perhaps old firmware, but wouldn't upgrade either, on multiple computers--see other review). They didn't even require me to send the initial unit back.
Cons:
The replacement unit arrived when I was out of town for a month. So I've been using it now for two weeks. It worked like a charm on my Windows 7/64 ultrabook. Until last night. Then it just suddenly died. I've tried unplugging, replugging, tons of stuff. I was only using two of the four ports.
Overall Review:
I have an old iRocks 4-port ... isn't USB3, but it's been in service for something like 8 years now, used every day. Has gone through multiple operating systems without a whimper, without any upgrading. Runs my keyboard, mouse, and camera.
Manufacturer Response:
