Awesome tower 01/05/2013
This review is from: Antec Twelve Hundred V3 Black Steel ATX Full Tower Unbeatable Gaming Case
I can't say enough good things about this tower. This is the second build I have done and I wanted something that would last for future upgrades and also be sturdy for all of my moves with the military. I did not go wrong by deciding on this case, even if it did take me over 8 hours of research between myself and 2 other friends. I operate all fans at their lowest setting since the space doesn't need anything more with my set-up, and it is very quiet. Set up does take a while to accomplish with all of the thumb screws, but that is what keeps everything secure and from not vibrating so I am okay with it. Those same thumbscrews for the bays will make cleaning the front fan filters a headache though. It has 3 x USB 3.0 ports in the front now, so that is nice if your motherboard supports it like mine. The space for a SSHD on the bottom by the PSU is nice so you don't have to use another drive bay if you have a maxed out setting somehow, or in my case just want to keep things clutter free. Blue lighting is a nice touch with the open window. My wife knows nothing about computers, but even she commented on how nice and sturdy it looks. One of the best purchases I made for my new system upgrade.
Really none. The only delay I had in the complete set up was getting some adaptors for the 4 pin fan connectors. My motherboard only had 4 or 5 of the connectors, so I had to purchase some more to connect to the PSU to have enough connectors for the 6 stock fans. Would be nice if some were included with the case, but they weren't and nota deal breaker at all, cost me about $3 to order some through newegg, just order them when you order the case so you don't have to wait like I did on the pieces to arrive if you don't have them handy with your motherboard or PSU.
