Works great when connected. Decent Speeds.
Worked with both of my 2.5" HDD's at first (Couple of days) then stopped working with one of them. The hdd indicator light stayed lit on the HDD like it was stuck trying to read the drive. The computer kept saying the drive needed to be formatted. I checked the drive with two different USB external enclosures (the ones I was replacing for this device) and they both read the device. The HDD (Samsung Spinpoint 4 HM640JJ) worked fine on my old usb 2.0 enclosures but would not work at all with this device.
I am RMAing it for a refund and will purchase a more reliable product.
