This review is from: IOGEAR GearPower Susan G. Komen Edition Portable Battery Pack GMP1001PP (Pink)
Slim. Pink. Cheap.
Does not work.
I was happy with GMP4400PP, a higher capacity IOGEAR battery, so I had high hopes for this smaller cousin. I charged it fully, according to instructions, and when it filled I plugged in my Palm Pixi. I got the charging symbol which stayed on for less than a minute. My wife's Incredible 2 failed to charge at all, my Pixi indicates charging briefly but then drops out.
It doesn't matter how small or cheap this may be, it does not work.
Thank you for choosing IOGEAR and we apologize for the inconvenience.
Tablets are designed to charge from its included 2.1A charger. When connected to 1A power, the tablet will slow charge. When connected to a .5A source like a standard PC USB port (or.6A source like the GMP1001PP), the table will display “Not Charging”, however it is actually trickle charging the tablet. The compact GMP1001PP was designed to charge phones and mp3 players. We recommend using our higher capacity/output models tablets.” Once again, thank you for choosing IOGEAR.
