Works Wonderfully! 03/17/2013
This review is from: Kingston 16GB (2 x 8GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 Laptop Memory Model KVR13S9K2/16
Pros:
Works perfect for those who want to max out the 15 inch Early 2011 MacBook Pro. Kingston ValueRAM always works wonderfully in any computer I've ever used it in.
Cons:
None
Overall Review:
You would be surprised how much RAM a 64 Bit operating system can use up in a short time. There's a huge difference if your running a virtual machine such as Windows 7 on a Mac and it's a 64 Bit as well. With Apple's stock 4GB it was going into hard drive virtual memory and that's extremely slow, especially when your stock hard drive is 5400 RPMs. I highly recommend it if your running a virtual machine, a few apps and web browser at the same time.
