This review is from: D-Link Xtreme Gigabit Router (DIR-655) Wireless N300, USB SharePort, Gigabit
Pros:
This router has good transfer rates when it's connected. It was fairly easy to set up, and has several nice features, to control access and allow guest access.
Cons:
It periodocally drops connection for no apperent reason and will reconnect after about 5 minutes. It occures about once or twice a month, so it isn't horrible, but if it occures at the wrong time it can be exceptionally annoying. It also keeps changing the address for my wireless printer, so I have had to manually make the address static. I did not have to do this with the previous Lynksys routers I have used.
Overall Review:
I used to be hard core Lynksys but they declined and their devices aren't as good as they used to be. I head a few good things about this router, but didn't research as much as I should have or I would have gone a different route. I will not buy this router once it is time to replace it. It would be an incrediable router were it not for these two issues.
