This review is from: ASRock H77M LGA 1155 Intel H77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
-Has a lot of SATA ports
-Support is lacking
Was a great board until I tried to "internet flash" from the bios. Bricked the board and ASRock has no way to recover it. Other companies have ways to recover the bios if a bad flash occurs, but the documentation and support from ASRock was beyond bad. I had another board (the E-itx Z77) and I have had to RMA it twice already. I sent ASRock an e-mail about this one and didn't receive a reply until 2 weeks later. The reply basically said to try resetting the CMOS in badly typed english with typos.
In short- these boards are a great value when they work, but the support is very lacking.
Dear ASRock Customer
We sincerely apologize that you having difficulty with BIOS issue.
However, most of the mainboards come with single BIOS on the market but few mainboards (high-end) support dual BIOS .
If the BIOS has failed during flash that needs to replace the BIOS chip unless with EEPROM writer to recover it.
As always, we appreciate your purchase and constructive reviews are welcome.
