Great little board 04/07/2013
This little board has gone through a media center to a media server over two years. I have to say that the specs of this board is quite interesting, they say that the max is 4 Gb of DDR3, but since I've tested it, it can be pushed up to 8Gb of memory. I'm partially tempted to go up to 16 gigs but we will have to see
the BIOS updating is still having an issue, but I don't mind that all too much, it gets easier after the first update. The other thing is that there is no information about the mini PCI express port or what is the compatibility for that port. I bought a 2 port mini PCI express card and it hasn't worked with the board and it hasn't been able to be recognized with Windows Home server 2011...Hope they fix the BIOS so it can recognize it easier.
Out of all of this, this board has done quite well for what it does as a server, I wish that the D2700MUD board worked just as great as this board has. Comparing between the newer boards, at least with this board, it is 64-bit capable and is not restricted. With the exception of the mini PCI express port, I got nothing wrong with it.
