This review is from: SteelSeries Siberia V2 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Full-size Headset - Red
This is just an update from a past post, but I wanted to make added comments of course. I've had this headset for a little over a year now and I have not had a single issue with it. My 7H as stated previously as a back up headset, had faulty wiring. This headset, I still have 100% crystal clear sound, I will add in I have the USB soundcard from steelseries as well. I have not felt the need to purchase an actual sound card yet like the ASUS Xonar but I am tempted to try it in the near future to see how the USB sound card is when put to the test against it.
SteelSeries support.. If it weren't for Newegg.. lol... SteelSeries support continued telling me that my 7H was broken due to my own errors, which is not the problem at all. I purchased 3 pairs of 7H's, all having the same issues, one for myself, my brother, and my friend. However, the 3 Siberia V2's I've purchased all have no issues at all. SteelSeries support later went on to ban my account from their website so I can no longer RMA my faulty 7H (the problem is the wiring in the threaded cable, many others have the same exact issue). So I wasted money on the 1 year warranty for each one of those headsets. Do NOT purchase your headphones from SteelSeries, ONLY buy them from newegg if you are going to be purchasing these.
Siberia v2's are just as comfortable as they were since day one. For people who wear glasses (I do myself at times) these are not going to be very comfortable for you. If you have contacts throw them in before wearing these. I would personally rate the product 10/10 even after dealing with salty customer service from SteelSeries. Rating the product after all, not the company. I won't say the company rating I have lol
