Pros:

(I now own a pair of Astro A40's with amp so the review will mention the two)

-Very light, does not hurt my head like the Astro A40's.

-Great sound quality. Clear and crisp highs and mids. Comparable to the A40's.

-I LOVE the mic monitoring (hearing your own voice in the headset so you're not shouting).

-Battery life is decent.

Cons:

-Ear cups are a little too shallow for my big ears and tend to hurt after an hour or so.

-Bass is very shallow and not very deep. This is 1 area where the Astros beat this TB headset.

-Bluetooth only mic (unless using on XBOX, then it's wired to your controller). If using on PC a cheap dongle will suffice, but it adds to the cost of the headset.

Overall Review:

BE AWARE that any 7.1 or 5.1 or any surround sound headphones will only be as good as your sound card if using on your PC. This was my first foray into the audio quality world and I learned this the hard way. Quality headsets like this NEED an optical port for one, otherwise you're wasting your money listening to analog with such an expensive headset. The Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Micro II is an easy fix for this, however it only gives expanded stereo, not surround sound. You'll need a sound card with Dolby Digital Live to truly appreciate these or any surround sound headphones on the PC.
