reburbished? I can't tell. 04/29/2013
I own 1 other 110wn and a pair of 100n trendnet cameras. They are pretty good (the 100n has incredible low lux picture and the 110wn has great framerate, 5-15fps and sound built in). The 100n has lower framerate (2-5fps over internet)
This unit is defective. The video freezes and then becomes unresponsive (java applet shows white box). Does not stream to phone although my other cameras do fine. I tried both wireless and ethernet and it still does the same. The network is setup and I'm able to change all settings (over wifi or ethernet). I can even reboot it and I flashed firmware but it still locks up. My retail 110wn does not do this, it's rock solid. I took a chance on a reburbished unit since I spent around 70$ on my last one but there is obviously a reason they are selling for 30$ ea. Buyer beware, there doesn't seem to be any quality control on the reburbs.
I'm going to call Newegg and do something I rarely have to do... RMA a purchase. Thank goodness for the standard return policy and Newegg's excellent customer service. I'm positive they will take care of me as always. I'm just disappointed that I won't be getting a 2nd 110wn to play with (cause this is definitely gonna be a refund). Oh well, I've bought thousands of $$ worth of stuff from Newegg and it's very rare I get burned so chalk it up to bad luck.
