A MUST HAVE CASE 05/31/2013
This review is from: AZZA Genesis 9000 CSAZ-9000B Black 0.8mm SECC ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Just about EVERYTHING, this case has it all, HUGE, SPACY, and room for 2 Power Supplies, 1 near the front and the other near the back of the case. BTW each PSU is mounted on the bottom.
When I say HUGE, I mean HUGE, as in almost HUGE enough to hide a Body or TWO... Not really, but very close.
The Black Case with Red Trim Lights is very easy on the eyes, especially in the darkness, that Red Hue Glow really adds to the over all spectacularly of the case...
Extra EVERYTHING was included, short of a second case, and these days that is something.
Room for Fans, water Cooling Equipment, the Dog, Several Hard Drives and DVD's and lots of room to hide cables.
The supplied cables are almost too long, but I would rather they be that then too short.
The provided screws are painted Black to match the case and the MB screws seemed to disappear into the background of the MB itself.
There is Room in the Top for 2, let me say again, TWO, 230mm Fans, side by side. You could probably remove them and replace it with the largest Water Cooling Radiator out there as clearance it not an issue.
MB Bay is removable and replacing the MB is a dream. The MB has all kinds of clearance around it and you can mount the MB Bay facing either side so depending on your application you can set access to the MB from the Front or Rear Panel.
The case itself weighs 45 lbs and by the time you add a huge PSU, Hefty MB, and lot of Drives said system could easily reach triple digits, as in 100 lbs or more so once you decide where it is going to go don't think about moving it.
Includes 5 removable hard drive bays that can handle 3.5 or 2.5 size hard drives. The entire front cage covering is removable and if you have the need could easily install 10 DVD Drives and easily make your own DVD Copy Machine.
There are a few cons but none worth deducting any eggs for.
The On Switch and Lighting Switch feel cheap. The Monetary ON Switch seems to be stuck ON, but it is not.
The tool less cage seems a bit tight to get drives in and out, but that being said when the drive is in, it is there to stay and feels solid.
None of the Fans are PWM so I would venture to say this case has been out for sometime, but replacing said fans with PWMs is worth the added cost, especially if you want to put enough fans in that case to suck all the air out of the room.
The Doors Hinge open, not sliding, and that takes a bit to getting use to. Not really sure if that is a con or pro. The nice thing about that hinge is it compresses the cables rather than drags the panel across them so there is that.
There is a 2.5" thick piece of plastic on the Top and Bottom of the case that is not easily removed, especially the bottom, but it does stay secure and it does not feel cheap. There is room under each for water cooling devices if you wish to install them there.
The Front Panel is a pain to remove, but you really don't need to remove it because each drive bay has a vented cover that is removable, not easily, but removable just the same. Again it is a pain to remove but it is very securely fastened and other than exploring just to see what is behind it, there is no real need to remove it.
The square to allow non factor CPU Cooling is a bit small, but the MB Bay is removable so expanding is very easily done.
This case is not portable by any stretch of the imagination but when one buys a FULL TOWER, toting it around is not a prerequisite. That being said, if you wanted to install Wheels you probably could, so it just depends on how portable you need this case to be... LOL...
The Black with Red lighting just looks more Menacing in a wicked, cool, evil way as the other option White with Blue Trim seemed more Tame for lack of a better description.
I know I will keep this case for a very long time to come because this thing is just too friggin heavy to move... LOL...
The additional screws and hardware was a wonderful addition and already being painted black was an awesome surprise. No need to paint screws like you would need to do on most over cases. I simply grew accustomed to Chrome Finished Screws so again this was an awesome surprise.
There is room on the front side panel for a 3rd 230mm Fan plus two more 140mm fans so I would venture to say keeping this case cool is not a problem. I have paid way more money on cases that gave but a fraction of what this case offers, so if you seek a case that can also double as Support for you Building, you will not be disappointed...
