-Backplates look great!
-More powerful than expected
Just installed 2 of them on my rig up from 3-way sli GTX470s + GTX285 physX. and WOW what a diff. Not just frame rate wise either... I could literally see a visual difference. And remember the 770/780 have the optimized software encoding for video capture. (See my youtube chan- Same name)
However, the only diff. choice I would make would be to get the 4Gb version. There are very few game which will utilize it but if you play one of them it's worth it! Take Skyrim with the Sharpshoother EMB + grass mod. With "only" 2k textures will eat approx. 2.4Gb-2.5Gb of vram.
I sent off an email to EVGA about trading up to the 4Gb versions last night...
For kicks I decided to ramp up the fans (all 4) to full 100% and left the stock settings as to see just how well the new Boost 2.0 works. I STILL coulnd hear the gpu fans over my radiator fans, gave me a max OC of +165core and + 340Mem with no voltage adjustments and STILL did not break the 60*C mark.(Using Heaven 3.x HWBOT Ed.)
Im actually LOVING these gpu's and being an over clocker, am VERY happy I skipped the previous generation. Since Ive poped mine in on release day Ive sold 17 GTX770's and not a single one has come back with a complaint nor for RMA. Highly recommend them!
