Power-to-spare for a completely basic budget-build used for a few simple programs and surfing the web.
Not quad core?
I've always been of the mind that it's better to have more than you need, just to be safe, so I was hesitant to buy almost literally the cheapest, lowest-end 1155 CPU available on the site... But I knew the machine would never see any serious/heavy usage, and I wanted to save the client as much money as possible.
Granted, some of the snappiness might be because I installed a SSD rather than a traditional drive, but the machine has not skipped a beat. It managed to handle single streaming video well, it handles all their programs just fine... I'm sure if someone were just building an internet/Office machine, the chip would be all they ever need. Probably handle web/flash based games alright, too.
