The cooler was easy to install. I took my time and 'silvered' both the heatsink cpu surface and cpu surface with some Arctic Silver 5 grease, then just a small line parallel with the core layout of the CPU.
Even under 20min of OCCT stress testing, the cooler master heatsink keeps temps easily under control. It is very over-engineered which I like.
I wish the fan was higher quality. It is a PWM fan, which is nice, but I did notice a tick tick vibration it was causing through the heatsink. I replaced it with a Noctua NF-F12 PWM fan which is much better. Needless to say , I should have then looked at going with a Noctua cooler+fan combo to save some $$.
I'm still happy with the coolermaster heatsink itself, extremely high quality.
