This review is from: LIAN LI PC-Q07B USB3.0 Black Aluminum Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case
This case is the same high quality I've come to expect from Lian Li. Very well machined aluminum with professionally tapped threads. Great sound/vibration isolation for the hard drive. No sharp edges to cut yourself on.
My only real complaint is the front panel USB connector. The cable is too thick and rigid. Because of the tight space inside a mini ITX case you need to squeeze everything in, but the front panel USB cables are hard to bend and flex. They should have made them thinner and more flexible.
The side panels do not come off with thumb screws from the back like most computers. Instead there are about half a dozen phillips screws holding each side panel on. Not a detractor, just not what I was expecting. This is my first mini ITX build. Wow, that can be a tight squeeze getting everything to fit. This isn't a fault of the case.
Oh, be sure and mount the CD/DVD drive BEFORE screwing the motherboard panel in place. The only way to access the second mounting screw for the CD/DVD is with the side panel removed, and since the motherboard mounts to the side panel, mount the drive before installing the motherboard. Instructions didn't say to do this.
