Second expensive ipod to lie down and die 07/14/2013
This review is from: Apple iPod Touch 32GB Blue (5th Gen)
When it was functioning, it was a dream come true. A movie player, book reader, wireless convenience - all I could ask for.
This is the second (and probably last) ipod that has gone south on me in a short time. Bought new in April, by July it didn't accept wireless, couldn't play videos, be recognized by Windows 7 and finally, cannot be restored at all. I have checked online help, users' groups, blogs, all I could find. After three days of intense digging, I learned that these seem to be common problems and with no solutions. Yes, I followed all the instructions suggested and reinstalled iTunes three times.
Tomorrow I will bite the bullet and see if an iPod repairman can bring it back for less than a $fortune. Apple only seems to be interested in getting you to the iTunes store.
