Strong feeling board for a great price 07/22/2013
I bought this with the new Haswell i7-4770k and got $100 for the combo; what a steal!
I had my AMD Gigabyte mobo for about 3.5 years and decided to switch over to Intel because of all of the benchmark reviews and comparisons between the FX 8350 and the Haswell chipset. I have always been pleased with Gigabyte's durability and have not had to RMA their boards.
Visually, this board looks really nice. The red and black look great in my white Storm Stryker case.
This mobo was extremely easy to install in my Storm Stryker case. The cable management was also extremely easy to do and I like that this board has all USB 3.0 since it's backwards compatible with USB 2.0.
The UEFI on this mobo is AMAZING looking and overclocking will be a breeze once I get my Antec Kuhler 620 liquid cooling installed.
The front audio ports of my Stryker sometimes disrupt the back Realtek audio ports that are on this mobo. It's not worth taking off an egg though because I'm sure I will figure out how to fix it.
