Fantastic Card 07/27/2013
Originally I bought an ASUS card which was DOA, and I repalced it with this one after a bit more research. This one has a heavier duty power circuit (this has an 8+6 power connector, the ASUS card was 8 pin only). These fans do get audible, not loud at all, but audible under heavy load. Effortlessly OC'ed to 1130 (1267 w/boost) and it just eats my old 7850 for breakfast.
This is the first NVIDIA card I've purchased since the old 6600GT- and now that I have a working card, I am happy I gave it a chance again. Nice job on this card!
It is very long, I was worried it wouldn't fit in my Fractal Design Define R3- but it does with a bit to spare. But just be aware that it is a long card, so make sure your case supports 11" long expansion cards.
Other than that, it does throw off a lot of heat under gaming and exhausts that into the case, so make sure your case cooling is up to the task.
