Compact. easy to manage settings, multifunction for every mobile need. Out of the box setup was a breeze once you check the manual. I'll explain in the Other Thoughts section.
Able to run the AP on internal battery. USB drive sharing works good and easy to find, no app needed.
Admin interface is slick! Love it. Granted, its a core set of features that you can adjust, but thats all you need for something like this and its easy to understand what you're adjusting. OR you can use the Wizard which is truly a wizard setup and gets you up and running in no time.
battery life is long in AP mode with USB flash drive attached with Samba enabled. , I like that they tell you how many approximate recharges you can get if you are using the most popular smartphones.
You can charge your phone while in AP mode to double your utility. Charging works with any micro USB wall /car charger or UBS port on PC/laptop
No delay in network speed to the internet
Seriously None that I can think of given what this thing does in such a small package.
No external antenna option. Maybe the next model could have an external antenna option to screw on a 5dBi or 7dBi rubber duck/whip antenna??? This is a nitpick rather than a con.
The manual is tiny, you will need a magnifying glass. The default WPA key for the wireless is 11111111. yes, that is eight ones. Would have been nice to have the default settings on a sticker right on the unit rather than towards to back of the manual listing under AP Mode.
after you get connected with wireless, its cake from there.
CPU utilization is shown in the GUI is cool feature.
Samba file transfer speed on Wireless N (72Mbps on laptop 10ft away was between 3 and 4 MBps (24-32Mbps) to a USB flash drive.
USB port does not like U3 sticks, even when the CD function in the firmware is removed from the stick's firmware. Use literally ANY other USB drive except for a U3.
WiFi range is reasonable given how compact the unit is.
