Second review 08/29/2013
none really except when they work
Second set failed memtest on xmp settings right out of box. Firs tset is sent out for RMA. guess im outta luck and my computer again.
This is my thrid bad set of gskill ram on two different motherboards. Not that my corsair that I had to rma twice as well is much better. Pretty much done with gskill after this.
We will make sure the RAM is running fast and stable in your computer. This is an extreme performance memory kit so you should be very pleased with the result. It is unlikely that multiple kits were defective. With a capable CPU and motherboard, all you should need to do is enable the XMP Profile in BIOS/EFI then everything is ready to go. If you experience instability, test each module individually to see if one may be bad causing problems. Each module should run smoothly when tested on its own. If one performs differently, feel free to send them in for RMA exchange. With a new kit, you should have no problem. For all further questions or concerns, please contact the G.Skill support team with hardware specifications. They will make 16GB of the G.Skill Trident X series is running at DDR3-2400.
Quality and customer service are our top priorities.
