Great Product 08/31/2013
This review is from: Razer Orbweaver Gaming Keypad
Better than its predecessor. The thumb pad is a lot easier to use, still not like a ps3 or xbox one. With the orbweaver I can use the thumb pad for directional movement and adjust it to strafe. This item is a complete game changer. It took me about a week to get the hang of it. Now I cannot see playing with out it. The adjustable palms and thumb pad are excellent. It allows you to fit it to just about any hand size! Superb quality went into manufacturing this keypad. It is not loose or wobbly in the least.
People have noted that the cord is not the cloth wrapped type and say it is an issue. For me the keypad doesn't move all that much and the cord isn't a problem for me. My issue for this product would be with the Razer Synaspe. It is like their version of "the cloud". It can be cumbersome to work with and get used to, although, I do not have great technical skills in understanding software. Granted all that, I have gotten used to the program and it works great for my intended purposes. Yet, I am no where close to using it to its fullest capability, I still love this product.
I would definitely recommend this for a friend. Once you get used to the software and the key pad it self, you will never switch back to a keyboard. (well except to type).
Took me about a week to get used to the keypad. It is built very well and helped me to decide to purchase other Razer products. Once you figure out how to work the software, remapping keys is easy. The additional profiles are great for other games, as well as, having macros for Word and Excel programs.
