Raid creates boot issue 10/20/2013
This review is from: ASUS P8Z77-V DELUXE LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Fast and smooth sailing for over a year then Raid1 issue started.
After 1 year Raid1 started failing, programs freeze, and boot time 3 times longer. Did tons of research and tuning. Updated bios and did clean install to correct issue in the end. This was the end of my ability to set the bios to Raid. Setting to Raid creates boot failure and loops until I reset bios to non raid setting. In turn, all my bios and settings get deleted. RMA suggested by Asus and returned with same issue and no description of work performed. Also usb3.0 ports stopped working. Contacted Asus again and they want to RMA again. I think I will just same the time and money and get an MSI board and move on
