Awesome keyboard for FPS and general use 10/29/2013
This review is from: RAZER DeathStalker USB Gaming Keyboard
+Chiclet keys feel great
+Awesome aesthetics, goes great with my matching green DeathAdder and PC
+The font on the keys looks sick, as does the green led backlight underneath
+Has extra FN keys
+Attention to minor details (the little legs that flip out to raise the angle feel like they were meticulously designed for quality for instance)
+Very responsive, can hold down 10 keys at once without "losing" some
+did i mention it's QUIET?
+Gold USB plug, just like the mice
+Immediately recognized and customizable in Razer Synapse 2.0 along with my DeathAdder
-A little pricey for a standard keyboard. While the price isn't prohibitive, and pc gaming in general is expensive, I find $80 for a standard USB keyboard (at time of purchase) a little high. That being said, I think it's money well spent and I don't regret it at all.
-If you are SUPER hardcore about MMO gaming, I advise getting the Death Stalker Ultimate with the extra features geared towards WoW etc. I play FPS mostly, so i found that unnecessary. Obviously you can play WoW just fine with this though.
I'm a poor college student in the National Guard and haven't treated myself to anything in a while. My G.I. bill finally came in for this semester so I decided to complete my setup with a Death Stalker keyboard and DeathAdder mouse. A detail that somehow i've avoided in the 3 years that I've had and upgraded a gaming PC..
*My old keyboard was insanely loud to the point that my roommate got mad at me, he couldn't sleep if i was on my PC etc.. (He's a gamer but runs a laptop with soft keys), so I chose this keyboard with the chiclet style keys partly for that reason.
