Worked great until it didn't. 11/10/2013
Overclocking was really easy with this board and it had more than enough sata and pci slots for me. The capacitors were spaced well enough that I did not have any problem using liquid cooling. The LED error reporting is also nice instead of the old way of listening for a certain beep pattern. Dual BIOS
Board failed after about a year of use. Bios 1 failed first with an error about an early northbridge initialization, rebooting every 3 or 4 seconds. The only way I could get the computer back in action was to switch to bios 2. I tried to clear the CMOS and, after the first bios failed, I flashed it with the latest bios. Then, a few months later, bios 2 failed in the exact same way and now I'm dead in the water.
I didn't want to mess with an RMA so I just bought an
ASUS P8Z77-V PRO instead.
