does not amplify quiet sound levels enough. Have to switch to headphones for some youtube videos. But videos with normal sound levels are plenty loud enough.
the base is angled, meaning, if you sit them upright, connected with the magnet connection, they are always on the verge of tipping over and they wobble around on your desktop a lot.
no headphone output jack.
power LED. Because I don't already have enough LEDs in my bedroom.
short cord that connects the two speakers. About 2 1/2 feet long. If that's as far as you can separate them, why have them separate at all.
the reviews that complain about the magnet strength are probably doing it wrong. i.e. if sitting horizontal, you can sit them on their sides, or on the 'feet'. If on the 'feet', then no, the magnet is not strong enough.
There is no need for the power switch on them.
If there was no power LED, and instead a headphone jack, and a switch to switch between speakers and headphone, that would be useful. If it's utility you're looking for, look elsewhere...
