Lack of HDMI glaring omission 11/25/2013
This review is from: ASRock E3C226D2I Mini ITX Server Motherboard LGA 1150 Intel C226 DDR3 1600/1333
6x SATA, enough USB3, Server grade in Mini ITX size
No HDMI a glaring omission. Mini ITX will make this board popular for home servers, even an ideal board. With virtualization, and this board supporting IGP and VT-d, HDMI would make this board infinitely useful for also serving as an HTPC. Sure, you can add a video card, but with only one slot, and the fact that the haswell IGP is superior and low power for HTPC use, means no HDMI was a big glaring omission
Why, ASROCK, why?
There's plenty of room for HDMI, D-sub is not even necessary. Really, it's 2014 already. Corporations do have digital projectors these days :-D
