This thing just keeps running strong, after almost 8 years. I used it for a long time as part of my gaming computer, and now my wife uses it for digital art and it's still running strong. It's still using the original mobo I bought with it, an Intel P35DP. There have literally been no problems with it and, if my wife hadn't needed a computer, there's a large chance I'd still be using it. No need to replace it.
Discontinued which is a shame as a budget minded system builder with a need for performance could find it with this.
Can still run games great when paired with a decent video card and 8 gigs of RAM. I've had power supplies and video cards die in this machine but the CPU has been an amazing, unfailing workhorse. Easily 5 eggs through the nearly 8 years it's been running.
