HOT, way too hot 12/04/2013
690+kh/s at stock clocks .
2 of these run 10-15C hotter than 2- Saph's R9 280x at 99% load. 18-20c hotter than 7970 with an icy vision cooler under same load. No games included at the time, not that big of a deal to me, but still. Barely faster then the 7970.
85C while other manufacturer cards are 10c+ cooler..
HIGHLY likey that I am going return them as defective/overheating but I will wait until 12/9/13 ( full 5 days) to return, well unless they magically drops at least 10c before that. Crossfire is going to cook these cards to death
Temps in the summer will be 100c+, until it dies, if its already at 87c in a now 21-22c room.
It SUCKS that I will probably have to pay return shipping but thats Newegg and most other online retailers.. I will use the site named after a huge river next time, free UPS return label if needed.
