Memory won't run at rated speed 12/04/2013
Memory is stable at 1600MHz.
This memory is not stable at it's rated speed of 1866MHz with an ASUS Z87 MB and i7-4770K CPU. The memory almost instantly gives errors on MemTest x86 and caused several blue screens at 1866MHz. No reported errors at 1600MHz.
Granted that the difference in performance between 1600MHz and 1866MHz is low, but still this memory should perform at it's rated speed.
We can surely assist you in getting the memory to run at the rated speed of DDR3-1866 CL10. In BIOS/EFI, enable the XMP Profile under AI Overclock Tuner, then the motherboard can automatically detect and configure all memory settings. Once that is complete, the RAM will oiperate at the rated specifications and the system should be fast and stable. If you continue to have issues, contact the G.Skill support team and we will be glad to assist you. The memory is guaranteed to operate at the rated specifications, so we will make sure of that. If not, we will be glad to exchange for a kit that will. That is the G.Skill guarantee.
Quality and customer service are our top priorities.
