Dead after 4 days, even as RAID 1 12/22/2013

It was easy to set up, started working right out of the box.
Both drives died in the same 24 hours in RAID 1 configuration. Upon researching the issue, this is a very common problem and many people are frustrated with this product and WD's level of service.
I will purchase a RAID NAS solution that I can choose the quality of internal drives. Sending back this junk.
Hello Dan, we are very sorry to hear that your drive did not function so soon after it was delivered. As a troubleshooting step, we recommend running either our WINDLG diagnostics software or Macs built-in Disk Utility to check your drives health individually outside the drive enclosure.
