Worst Touchpad Ever 01/07/2014
Cool color and outside design(but I am a girl that likes purple), fairly lightweight, holds a charge decently well although I am never far from my charger.
I only use it for schoolwork and it works well enough for that. I did play FFXIV beta on it once weekend and was only able to manage simple things like fishing, but I didn't buy it to game on anyways, I just got bored at work during a beta weekend and wanted to see if it would even load. It did, on low laptop settings. I use my desktop PC for gaming.
Worst touchpad I have ever experienced in a laptop. And I've owned a few. Specifically, the left click/right click buttons. They're constantly registering that I'm clicking something when I'm not, or they don't register clicks at all. They also like to click and drag things randomly. I hate having to use a usb mouse with my laptops because it's an extra thing to carry around, but with this one it's almost a necessity.
I hate Windows 8. That's all I have to say about that.
No backlit keys, which I had before, and I knew this one didn't have them, however, now that I don't have them anymore I miss them badly.
I've had this thing for almost a year and I'm only writing a review now because it's gotten to the point where, once again, with my tax money, I'm going to be getting a new laptop. This one was a decent enough price at the time, and I guess I got what I paid for. The touchpad alone makes me want to smash it and never look back.
