1 out of 5 eggs Poor form, Asus just lost a customer. 01/09/2014

This review is from: ASUS F2A55-M LK PLUS FM2 AMD A55 (Hudson D2) Micro ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros:

When on one of it's 2 hours working stints it is great.
Just don't walk away from the desk.

Cons:

Easily the worst experience I have had in my 10 years as a system builder. Purchased combo deal from Newegg, first found out that Crucial sent out a bad batch of RAM. After installing new batch had same issues. The motherboard would boot windows 7, and then after a certain amount of time go into a permanent sleep mode. This was only fixed by a hard reset. Due to the large amount of bad parts sent out, I spent several months of RMAs and part swapping, to a point that all warranties are off. It is terrible that Asus made such a lousy product and then refused to acknowledge their mistake. (As evidenced by other's reviews on this site) The first machine I ever built was back in 2004. It was an Asus board. I have been recommending Asus products to friends and companies that I work for. I will no longer make that mistake. It is a shame that they lost a 10 year customer along with all those I refer parts too.

Overall Review:

Errors were never rectified.
Switched power supplies.
Switched RAM.
Updated each component's driver to a level newer than Asus's driver page displayed.
