This review is from: Tenda P200 Powerline Mini Adapter Kit Up to 200Mbps
Manual (on disc) is surprisingly thorough and translated fairly well.
Included utility is really not bad compared to the usual garbage, only crashed a few times in the past couple hours.
Random disconnects in the first 10 minutes it's plugged in. Fixes itself in ~30 seconds.
Firmware version available on the web site seems mismatched.
Messed with the utility and settings for hours. Ping to the router varies between 2 and >45ms, where on WiFi it was a steady 1-2ms.
I'm getting between 25 and 40mbit according to the utility, which is likely due to my older wiring. Still sad though since I can see it across the room.
Utility uses WinPcap, so hopefully you don't have software that uses an older version.
I really hope these disconnects sort themselves out, I simply can't use it if not.
Remember folks, 200mbit for powerline means all powerline devices, these behave as old school hubs.
