Nice card but... 01/29/2014
Nice upgrade from a GTX 590. Runs less noisy than the 590 and plays most games including BF4 at high setting on a 2560x1080p screen.
Card runs hot but I think it's because of the overclock, playing games it reaches 85C degrees and this is in an ABS Canyon. Hopefully after switching the case to an obsidian 900D and more fans it will help but issue is at this price I was expecting it to play BF4 at ultra settings which my 590 was able to do. Not completely upset but with all the hype I thought it would perform better. My ambient temperature in my room is a cool 55F degrees and have my computer next to the window with a draft coming in from the outside air which at times have dipped to the teens like 14F and still this sucker reaches 80C+! Should have probably waited for the ACX cooling. Just taking an egg off because of the hot temps this card gets.
I guess you get what you pay for but I was hoping for at least ultra setting in BF4 for the 2560x1080p on my LG 29EA93-P but maybe need two of these cards to power that?
