This review is from: HIS iPower IceQ X² Turbo Boost Clock Radeon R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card H280XQMT3G2M
Pros:
good GPU. nice looking & all. more metal than plastic. not much else to say.
Cons:
earlier i reviewed this GPU as a BBQ. & it is. when you order your bbq, you will need to turn down the flames so you don't burn your bacon burger. you can use VBE7 & win 98 DOS to change your vbios if you are familiar with DOS and flashing devices. the stock bios are garbage. 450.00 off the shelf bbq. the GPU cooks food @ 84c, under minimal loadcould probably toast a marshmallow and bakes a potato in about two hours. seriously, what were you guys thinking?
Overall Review:
earlier i reviewed this GPU as a BBQ. & it was. i had to flash a custom bios and under volt the GPU's to 1.085. after writing and flashing a custom bios and under volting the cards i have them running at 99% load, 720kh/s, 71c @ 67f room temp. had to spend two hours setting up these gpu's. that makes them go from 500.00 after tax, to 600.00 after tax & labor. werent these cards supposed to be in the 300.00 dollar range?
