Still rockin 6 years later. 02/07/2014

Like the others here, I've had this little chip in my main rig for about 6 years now, and it's still tearing right along. I can still run the newest game in high/ultra settings, and all I've upgraded since this system was built was an SSD, Radeon HD 6870, and Win8. It's been overclocked to 3.4+Ghz with a Zalman 9700 led cooler for the entire time, and the thing is reliable as ever.
I have seen some SLIGHT hiccups in processor intensive games. The most noticeable was Planetside 2, when there were hundreds of players in the same are in a zerg attack. This was a pretty extreme case of CPU intensive gaming, so I can accept that.
Like others have said, I'd gladly nominate this chip for best processor of all time. It's the most solid piece of computer hardware I've ever owned.
