- 6 HD cable TV channels
- Tuner sharing between PCs
- Network Attached
- Works with all U.S. cable TV system
works better than expected over wireless 02/12/2014
Have 4 PCs sharing tuners throughout the house. Two connected via 802.11n - one via Gb network - and one via Powerline network. All except Gb-connected PC have no stutter on any channels at all. Works fine with both Win7 and Win8 PCs.
Windows 7 PC with 6-core AMD processor and 12 gig of memory, connected to the same Gbit switch as the InfiniTV6 - is the only one where channels stutter. And only on Verizon's 'premium' channels (HBO, Showtime, etc...).
After a little confusion on the Verizon 'self-install', everything went smoothly. Assigned 1 tuner to each of the kid's PCs, and two tuners each to PC in the Living room and in my office. The PC in the office doesn't exactly stutter (usual frame-loss jagged picture) - it's almost like it keeps switching between very slight slow-motion and fast-forward.
