Overall Review:
Regarding the manufacturer response for Lloyd L. on 12/4/2013, "Raid 0" does not normally decrease write speed. A quick search on Google or Wikipedia states:
RAID 0
RAID 0 comprises striping (but no parity or mirroring). This level provides no data redundancy nor fault tolerance, but improves performance through parallelism of read and write operations across multiple drives. RAID 0 has no error detection mechanism, so the failure of one disk causes the loss of all data on the array.

Manufacturer Response:
Dear Customer,
When using a RAID 0 the write speed for the raid is done in parallel with all the drives
connected. A single drive that normally gets 500k write speed will be reduced to 250k write speed
in a RAID 0 with one additional drive. This increases performance since the data is written
simultaneously to each drive but does not increase the write speed for each drive.
RAID 0 does not decrease the overall write speed for the drives it only divides it for each
evenly connected drive. So a RAID 0 will decrease write speeds for each individual drive.
