Consistently benchmark'd in top 0%! Even when not overclocked, when testing I received several notices from sites like PCPitStop that it was the fastest CPU tested at the time, some of my tests being the fastest results PERIOD. Also, top scores on futuremark benchmarks with only the extreme versions beating it in comparison.
Completely floors anything remotely close in price. Which is good!
During general use i rarely see more than 3% of cpu resources used. Even when fully utilizing the processor I see little lag during general use of the computer, it just handles it!
The 4 channel DDR3 integrated makes an immediate difference! That's one direct memory access channel per processor core, so when paired with 8 sticks of memory you have 1 stick per processor thread! To say the least, it can handle data fast, and lots of it!
Motherboards can be more expensive on initial investment. But new technology always is, and the prices are coming down.
Doesn't have integrated video support, but that's a non issue for anybody that uses a real video card.
Besides dropping a grand on a processor there's just no beating it!
