Pros:

Easy set up on both a Windows 7 64 bit laptop and desktop computer. All you have to do is follow the steps in the little installation guide that comes with the adapter! You will be up and going in just a few minutes.
I had no trouble using it in both a USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 port.
And the 3 foot USB cable is nice to extend the adapter away from the PC to find a sweet spot for a stronger signal. I was getting 4-5 bars in a bedroom, on a laptop at the end of the house, to and from to my Netgear router in the living room.

Cons:

The only con that I have to report at this time, is that the adapter itself is large and really sticks out from the side of a laptop if you use it on one.

Other Thoughts:

Yes, this adapter is a tad large for use on a laptop, but on a desktop that stays in one place, you can connect it with the USB cable, and move it around with the cable attached to find the sweet spot for the best signal strength.
I have used several different wireless adapters in the past, and they all have issues with dropping the connection once in a while, it seems to be the nature with wireless adapters. There are so many signal interferences inside a house filled with other gadgets, and appliances running, it's just a given that once in awhile you will have to deal with resetting it.
I use a Netgear box for my router to and from the internet, and there is no issue connecting to it.
