bad, bad drive 04/21/2014
It doesn't actually keep your data. It pretendends to hold it for a short, random period of time, and then throws it all away.
I purchased this drive to use as an off-line backup. I stored my data on it, then stored it in an ESD bag, in a fire safe. I would remove it about every 3 months, and update the data stored on it.
After just over a year of ownership - with a total on time as reported by the drive - of 5 days - the drive completely failed.
Waiting for the RMA now, so they can ship me a replacment drive, which will likely have already failed once, before they 'repaired' it, and sent it to me. I don't expect the replacement to last long either...
