Rather Disappointed 05/11/2014
It was a very fast hard drive... while it functioned. Boot time was around 10 seconds, and that's enough to make any techie happy. I definitely wish I would've gone for a larger capacity drive. I thought 128 GBs would do cut it, but you just don't realize it until you install all of your games and programs.
I have owned it for a year, and it's already dead. I purchased the extended warranty, but I can't seem to get the Service Net Website to recognize that my NewEgg order has the service plan attached to it, so I can't make an account. Also, it arrived to my house in a manila envelope. Yes, I said envelope. Really people? I understand it's an SSD and has no moving parts inside, but jeez.
Get a different brand's larger capacity drive. And don't bother with the extended warranty stuff. You'll be happier.
My name is Allen from SanDisk Support. I am sorry to hear that SSD has failed. SanDisk stands behind the warranty on its products. We recommend you to please contact SanDisk support at 1-866-SANDISK or submit a support request at www.sandisk.com/support. The manufacturer warranty on brand new products extends beyond the Newegg.com 30 day return period. We will assist you towards a resolution including a possible warranty replacement.
