- Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower
- 2 x USB 3.0 / 2 x USB 2.0 / Audio Front Ports
- 3 Internal 3.5" Drive Bays
Superb Mid-range Full Tower 06/19/2014
TL;DR version: Build quality, features, ease of installation, and price.
Build quality is quite good. The case is very sturdy, and this extends to the parts which are primarily plastic as well (e.g. the case feet). Side panels aren't super heavy duty, but don't flex much at all, and the panel hinges are sturdy.
Great feature set:
-Removable hard drive and optical drive cages
-Great radiator support (up to 420mm in roof, up to 280mm in front, 120/140 in rear/bottom)
-Dust filtering on PSU/front intake
-Tool-less drive installation works well (SSD/HDD/ODD)
-Fits pretty much any hardware you want - long PSUs, giant air heatsinks, multiple GPUs, it's all there!
-3 included high quality fans
-Lots of cable management options
Building in the case was very easy - I had no problems getting anything installed (hardware listed in other thoughts).
The overall design is sleek, and I like the magnetic panel on the roof.
Price is great for the features you get!
The only thing I really don't like about this case is the mesh sections of the side panel. These serve no purpose; the case already has great airflow, and all these cutouts do is make your build noisier while also letting extra dust into your case. I really, really don't like them. Both sides should be the same - solid with no holes cutout.
It's worth noting that there's no dust filtering on the bottom 120/140mm fan mount - if you plan to put an intake down there for some reason, be sure you buy a magnetic dust filter to place over the slot.
The result of all this is that if you really want to be OCD about keeping dust out of your rig, it is necessary that you go with positive pressure airflow with your fan config (more intake airflow than exhaust).
This is a great full tower case, and it's an absolutely superb full tower case for its price point. You get good design, great build quality, and a fantastic feature set for not a lot of money!
I moved my main rig (which is usually in a CM Storm Trooper) over to this, and had zero issues with the installation:
ASRock z68 extreme7 gen3
16GB DDR3-2133 RAM
GTX 780 SLI
If you would prefer a side panel window, I believe you can buy that separately, or you can just check out the Corsair 760T which is basically the same excellent case but with a window.
Very highly recommended.
