I like that you have PATA and SATA, it uses socket 775 yet takes DDR3 which gives you a lot of choices in CPU as well as cheaper ram options.
Can't really think of any for the price it was bought at.
I installed a Xeon X3320 in mine after I found out it is the same as the Q9300, which is on the ECS list of supported CPUs. It's running great and cost $35 used from that auction site which we can't mention by name, (groan) great savings over a Core2Quad though it is actually the same. This is a "sweet spot" in terms of low cost options with the memory, CPU and ability to use old drives. I might try the socket 771 adapter with an even more powerful chip with another board some day..
