3 out of 4 are great 07/11/2014
When you get a working one they work very well.
Many people have Bluetooth Problems (including me, see Other Thoughts).
Over the last 6 months I've built 3 NUC PCs, and used this wireless card for all of them.
Two have win 8.1, one has win 7 (all 64 bit).
I bought this card because it also had Bluetooth, even though revies show a lot of people having problems with Bluetooth.
First two NUCs (with win 8.1) went great 2 different Bluetooth devices (a mouse and a speaker) connected quickly, and consistently.
Then I built the last one (with win 7) and it would see, and connect but not find any services for, the same 2 Bluetooth devices. I removed & reloaded drivers several times with different revs or in a different order, but it always ended up connecting but no services (which means the device can't do anything).
So I swapped cards with one of the other NUCs, and the problem followed the card. RMA'd that sucker, and the one I got works fine.
So if you're having Bluetooth problems, it may very well be a faulty card, even though the symptoms make it look like a driver issue.
All 3 NUCs now get great speed, no disconnects and really good range, and connect reliably with Bluetooth devices. So for the price, I still think this is the go-to card, for 802.11AC + Bluetooth.
